Copyright & Rights Policy
Effective October 30, 2026 · Version 2026-10-30
OohVies requires permission for submitted films, artwork, music, footage, and advertising. We may restrict or remove disputed material, request documentation, and terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We accommodate applicable standard technical measures. A submission declaration or indemnity alone does not establish that a film is cleared.
Report an issue
Use the website's Report a rights issue form to identify an OohVies title and provide your authority, work, concern, and supporting information. This operational report is not a substitute for a compliant statutory notice. Contact is available for notices, counter-notices, or material not listed in the form. Do not send passwords, complete identity documents, or unnecessary sensitive information.
DMCA notice information
A statutory notice should include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work (or a representative list); the material to remove and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, such as its specific URL; your name, address, telephone, and email; a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized by the owner, agent, or law; and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner. Knowingly material misrepresentations can create liability. We may share a notice with the affected submitter and preserve it as required for the dispute.
Counter-notices
If material is removed under the DMCA and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, a counter-notice must include your signature, identification and former location of the material, your name, address, telephone, a statement under penalty of perjury of that belief, consent to the applicable U.S. federal district court jurisdiction (or, if outside the United States, a district where the provider may be found), and agreement to accept service from the claimant or agent. Where the statutory process applies, we may restore material 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the claimant informs us of a court action seeking to restrain the activity. Independent contractual or policy grounds may still require restriction.
Designated agent status
OohVies has not verified a registered DMCA designated agent in this release. No safe-harbor status is represented. The operator must complete the designation and publicly provide the agent's matching name, address, telephone, and email before relying on the corresponding protection. General reporting remains available while this is completed.
