Advertising & Promotion Terms
Effective October 30, 2026 · Version 2026-10-30
These terms supplement the Terms of Service for advertisers, sponsors, agencies, and filmmakers purchasing promotion. No campaign begins merely because a form is submitted.
Authorized, lawful advertising
You must have authority to place the advertisement and license all music, footage, likenesses, claims, trademarks, and destination pages. Claims must be truthful, supported, and lawfully disclosed, including paid endorsements. No deceptive offers, malware, unlawful products, discriminatory targeting, fabricated testimonials, or unauthorized endorsements are accepted. Regulated categories require prior written approval and appropriate age and geographic restrictions; we may decline them. You are responsible for your products, fulfillment, taxes, customer service, and legally required disclosures.
Written campaign order
Before payment or launch, the order must identify the advertiser, creative, budget, currency, rates, eligible inventory, placement rules, flight dates, frequency caps, targeting restrictions, measurement definition, cancellation terms, and treatment of underdelivery. No specific film, placement count, exclusivity, conversion, sales result, or return is guaranteed unless expressly promised in that order. We may reject or pause creative for rights, policy, or technical reasons.
Measurement and reconciliation
The current system counts first-party player events; these are not independently audited unique people or broadcast ratings. A completed placement is one eligible completed ad play for a viewer under the agreed method. A scheduled insertion alone is not a delivered impression. Bots, duplicates, invalid traffic, and incomplete plays are excluded or reconciled under the order. Demo dashboards are fictitious. Campaign budget allocations are estimates, not proof of collected cash or a filmmaker payment. No sale of viewer contact lists or disclosure of individual viewing histories is authorized by these terms.
Fees, cancellation, and delivery
Filmmaker promotion starts at $100 and covers only the filmmaker's submitted title after confirmation of the separate $19.99 fee. A filmmaker supplies a 15-second commercial or requests creation for an additional $300. Creation deliverables, revisions, approvals, and usage rights require a separate scope. No automatic renewal is created. Earned delivery and completed agreed work remain payable; undelivered prepaid advertising will be refunded or made good as agreed, with required legal remedies preserved. Contact us promptly about discrepancies with the campaign reference and supporting records; no arbitrary reporting deadline removes statutory rights. The business indemnity in the Terms of Service applies.
